I am somewhat confused that fat free light flavoured yogurt has a carb value of 2 but frozen yogurt has no carb value This came up when I tried to change a frozen yogurt for strawberries using the curled menu change icon at the end of the blue menu bar. By substituting the strawberries I was low on carbs so tried adding the yogurt. I then went through a different route (the exchange method) and the light flavoured yogurt came up as value .5 but again the frozen yogurt was 0. Can you explain these differences to me please?
Hi, flowerpainter. Frozen yogurt incorporates a “sweet” exchange, which has carbs built-in (1 sweet = 1 carb + 1 fat) because it has more sugar than light yogurt.
