MemberI have been on the food plan for over a week. It is easy enough to follow but have not lost any weight.
This is just too much food for me. I am 77 and altho active do not exercise. I mow my own lawn on a tractor, 3 acres and do all my own gardening. Flower beds. This is just more food then I usually eat.
I would like to know the proportions of Carbs,and protein that should be included in each meal. How can I alter the menus to better fit me?June 23, 2015 at 9:41 pm #29817Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, MomRezin. If you change the weight in your profile to 167 lbs, you will receive less food. The proportion in terms of grams is 1 gram each of protein and fat to 3 grams of carbohydrates. MemberHi I am also having trouble with all the food I have to eat , I am 63 I still work at a job that needs strength to lift heavy things , I am in good health ,,, but I am finding it very hard to eat all the food , its like 6 meals a day for me, when I work I am not permitted to eat and have no breaks, just a lunch time ,, what can I do, and another thing some people gain and not loose is there a reason for that or is that a normal thing ,,thanks

MemberHi, Doreen. Yes, that can be a reason for weight issues. If you cannot get in all the snacks, that’s fine – just be sure to get all 5 of the fruit+vegetable servings and at least 3 servings of calcium-rich foods each day. You can also drink your snacks by making hearty shakes or soups from our recipe collection (or yours) and putting them in thermoses to take to work.

MemberHi, Doreen. Foods high in calcium are dairy products, tahini, almonds, and dark green leafy vegetables.
