MemberHi, Teresa. Hopefully you are being followed by a healthcare provider familiar with your case. If you are taking thyroid replacement hormone, it is important that the doses are balanced to optimize your thyroid levels (otherwise, weight management is very, very difficult).
Most foods are fine, but there are a few to avoid (known as “goitrogens”), and the advantage of the Menu Planner application is that you can build menus that don’t include these or that include them in very small amounts.
Cruciferous vegetables and soy-based foods generally have the highest levels of so-called “goitrogenic” compounds.

Chinese cabbage
