    Hello,

I have just joined this club after a long look over of it. I do enjoy the tools here and they are helping but I have a problem. I am not much of one to eat a LOT of vegetables. At least not any were near the amounts of 1 whole cup of each. YIKES! First of all they are expansive were I live and I work 12 hr shifts 6 days a week. So I’m looking for any help I can get here. Having a salad at dinner is fine and easy yes, but threw the rest of the day like at lunch it is quite hard. I add vegetables to my sandwich but I can’t put a whole cup of each on there and I am limited to my lunch time. I have pretty much only 15 mins to eat whatever it is I am going to eat for lunch. I am also wondering if I can sub-statue anything for vegetables? Also Avocado dose not seem to be on the Vegetables list I printed out from the apps here. Anyone got a take on that?

I probably should of added that I am not able to drink Vegetable Juice’s like V8. I have tried over and over again but I just can’t do it. Every time I do I wanna throw up. It has something to do with the texture of the juice and tastes like raw tomatoes which I can’t stand. *sighs* please any help would be nice.

    Thank you

Hi, WeldGirl. You can sneak vegetables into things like sauces (remember that red pasta sauce is a vegetable), and if you cook the vegetables, 1/2 cup is a serving. Can you make vegetable soups? That’s another popular option among people who dislike vegetables. The only real alternative to vegetables among fruits would be low-sugar berries, though these are not available year-round and also tend to be expensive. Finally, there are products that shrink vegetables down to a powder that you can add to foods that will hide the flavor. If you ask Customer Service (you can reach them through the “Contact Us” link below), they can set you up.
Regarding avocado, it is in the “fats” list, because it is almost pure fat.

Thank you for your response. When you say powders are you referring to veg. Powders like Green Vibrance and Garden of Life Greens? If so I have one other question. I take 800mg of Sparilina (? Hope I spelled that right) aka Kale (sea weed) supplement a day. Will taking the powder with my supplement be to much green?

Hi, Weldgirl85. Yes, I am referring to those powders. If you choose one without seaweed/algae (or any iodine added), it won’t be too much.

Alright Thank You. Last question I hope. I have got some powder. It says 2 to 3 tbls. To 12 fluid oz. Now my diet requires 2 servings of vegetables for lunch. Do I need to have 2 servings of the powder or just the one?

So basically I need two servings at lunch again after lunch for snack and again for dinner. So dose that mean I need to drink 4 servings of the stuff?

Hi, WeldGirl. Three servings throughout the day is fine if you get 2 servings of fruit.
