MemberI just began the Nutrition Diet yesterday. I was unable to eat 2 of the snack meals and could not eat the entire in the dinner meal. I tried to eat the same amount of each item on the plate so as to not through off the chemistry. Also I was a pound heavier this morning. Can I skip one meal and 2 snacks?

MemberHi, rlh, and welcome. One meal and two snacks is a lot of food, and it may indeed work against your efforts here. Are you physically active?

MemberI have just joined yesterday and am concerned I would not be ablate eat 6 rice cakes at one sitting my appetite is not huge. Also working I would only have a minute or two to have a snack.. Some days we are so busy we don’t have our lunch until 5.30pm which I know causes some of my issues. Sorry being self employed you just have to do what you have to do. Any suggestions for quicker to eat snacks? I really need this to work for me.

MemberHi, Helen. Don’t fight it – it’s better that you follow your satiety cues. For people who have minimal time to eat and small appetites, often drinking snacks can help – you don’t even need to plan for each one, just sip as you work. We have a selection of hearty shakes and soups in our recipe collection that may be of use. If this doesn’t suit you, please do repost here.

MemberI can’t eat all that food. I’d weigh a ton if I did. I find they don’t have enough choices. I can only eat swiss cheese due to kidney disease. I can’t have sodium so I am limited by my disease.

MemberHi, tnangel10. I suggest you use the full personal Menu Planner application so that you can select foods that work for you, and avoid the ones that don’t. In the list, you will see items in lighter blue – these are the healthier ones with the least amount of sodium – the menus in general are low in sodium. As for cheese, there is “hard cheese” in the protein category, which includes Swiss cheese.

MemberHi, Sue. That’s fine. As long as you finish eating an hour before bed, it will be OK.
