Hi there! My naturopath told me I need to get 70 grams of protein daily. I find this really hard to do being a vegetarian. Any suggestions?
Hi, Robyn. If you click “Vegetarian” in your profile, the Menu Planner will automatically set up your menu to provide that amount of protein. No worries 🙂
I have indicated that I prefer a vegetarian diet and when I look at the daily totals of protein its at 9-10 grams / day. Is there anywhere I can adjust this? It is much too low.
Thanks, Robyn
Hi, Robyn. Those are exchanges, not grams – each exchange equals about 7 grams; also, they don’t include the additional protein you will get from carb (up to 3 grams) and vegetable (up to 2 grams) exchanges.
