AndreaWilderMemberI just started the diet today. In my menu I selected a lot of protein items. When the menu actually calculated I noticed the protein in my meals is NOT enough to maintain my current workout regimen. Any suggestions how to make this diet heavy on the protein? Also I have severe allergies to green vegetables and tomatoes. How can I get the needed Fiber in my diet?

Ossie-SharonMemberFirst, there are many whole grain and legume items in the Menu Planner to help you meet your fiber needs. As for the protein, it would be great if you could post your height and weight, and I would be happy to do the calculations for you.

AndreaWilderMemberI’m 5’6, 129 lbs. I would like to loose at least 10lbs. I work out between 3-5 days per week. Hard workouts

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Andrea. You need about 55-60 gm/day of protein while you are working out. You will definitely get that from the mealplan, even more if you use legumes for fiber instead of green vegetables and tomatoes.
