Are green beans considered a free vegetable or if not, what is the serving size? What using canned green beans instead of fresh ones, and what would be the serving size?
Hi, caseya. Green beans are a “limited” vegetable, meaning a serving is 1 cup (240 ml). As I mentioned in a response to another of your posts, cooked from fresh is ideal, but canned can be fine if it has minimal additives (including sodium).
