When I ate breakfast this morning and forgot to eat just fruit should I make that up with another meal or with my evening snack or just skip it altogether?

But I thought it was the act of the right foods eaten together that is an important part of this plan that makes it work… am I mistaken about this if so please enlighten. Thanks
