Cornmeal for breakfast? How to you cook it? How do you eat it? My menu is gluten free and it just sez cornmeal. Any suggestions?
Hi, comp5195. Corn meal “mush” is a very popular porridge-like breakfast dish. You just cook it in water (at a ratio of 2 parts water to 1 part cornmeal) over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes. The you flavor it and add milk as you wish.
