I currently drink 11/2 to two gallons of 2% milk each week. I love milk. I drink it with all of my meals and sometimes in between instead of a soda.I drink it a lot. You don’t put drinks on the menus. Can I drink my milk?
Hi, Sfrankie. You can definitely drink your milk. Milk is actually treated as a food in the Menu Planner application, along with other beverages with significant carbohydrate or protein content (like fruit and vegetable juices). Clear beverages, such as water, tea, and coffee (without sweeteners and whiteners) are “free,” and so don’t need to be counted.
To incorporate your milk into your meals, I suggest you try the personal version of the Menu Planner application, so that you can select milk as often as possible to be sure you get your weekly amount.
