I’m confused by having few full fat choices….the options are mostly the low fat varieties of things like yogurt. Most of the research that I’ve read indicates that sugar is added to the low fat versions, and that healthy fats are good for you. So isn’t choosing the full fat yogurt a healthier choice, even if it is higher in fat, especially if the whole menu is balanced anyway? Wouldn’t it be better for the glucose insulin balance?

Hi, Tparkin. The full fat versions are often better choices. You are seeing low-fat versions because your menu choices are based on popular selections, which may not reflect your needs. I suggest you use the “personal” version of the Menu Planner application, wherein you can make your own choices.
