I play a lot of golf and it is very hot out right now. I drink a lot of water, but I also drink Premium Protein and G-2 while on the course. Are these acceptable under the plan. Premium Protein also has a bar. Many of my friends eat those. Are they acceptable.
Hi, Fran. Those products have more artificial ingredients than we would generally recommend. If you are seeking something to take with you on the course, we would recommend regular coconut water for electrolytes and hydration, and a food-based shake. We have a number of recipes in our collection, but if you want a readymade product, there are natural options out there, such as Target’s Vega One or Garden of Life’s Raw Protein. You don’t necessarily have to use those specific products, but just get an idea of the type of ingredient lists we recommend.
