Hi, theres a forum called tea and coffee where Ossie Sharon said tea is a free Beveridge and you just need to take into account the milk portion on your diet planner. Have a look at that forum for more info. I tend to cut out a dairy product each day to allow for the milk in my must have cuppas each day, and drink lots of water, it really makes a difference, hope this helps and all the best on the program.

Is Hibiscus tea and chai tea OK to drink. I use honey instead of sugar?

Hi, Linda. Those are great – tea in general is quite welcome. Honey can also be good, but do be sure that it is pure and not doctored with refined sugar additives. Up to a teaspoon (5 ml) is “free,” but after that, it should be counted as a sweet – up to 2 Tablespoons (30 ml).

Hi I have just joined and I have been making myself banana, mango and blueberry smoothies with zero fat yoghurt and semi skimmed milk. I never normally eat breakfast but these are delicious. I find I have more energy but I am unsure of the combination mix. Am I on the right track with this smoothie please.

Hi, Cath. The smoothie sounds great! The only change I would recommend is to not use 0% or skim dairy products, but rather find organic whole products – best if they are pasture-raised.

Is there anything I can drink besides water I don’t drink tea or coffee

Hi, TScott. What do you usually like to drink? You can flavor both regular and carbonated water with squeezes of lemon or lime or infusing it with sliced fruit or berries, with or without a high-quality no-carb sweetener like erythritol or Stevia. For ideas, see our article on detox waters (http://www.trimdownclub.com/how-to-make-detox-water/). If you usually like cola, then try adding cola flavoring extract (for example, https://www.amazon.com/LorAnn-Oils-Cola-1-Ounce/dp/B004VRKZT4/ref=sr_1_3_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1477000294&sr=1-3&keywords=cola+extract) plus the above sweeteners.
