The site seems quite complicated to get into!
What’s the best way to get started ?November 17, 2016 at 3:56 pm #37077Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Freyashake, and welcome! I would suggest going into “My Downloads” and checking out the files there. The Main Program Guide discusses our philosophy, and the Quick Start Guide explains how to make the most of the site. If you have any tech questions, you can contact that team through the “Contact Us” link below, and for nutrition questions, you can post here, and I’m happy to help in whatever way I can.

MemberI seem to feel better on a low carb eating plan
Also how do I know how many calories or carbs in the diet plans from trim downNovember 18, 2016 at 6:27 pm #37089Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Freyashake. We don’t work with calories here, but rather focus on meeting your nutritional needs. Our program is low-carb, so you have come to the right place. To see how many you are allotted per meal and day, click on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above any of your menus, and you will see them. If you want to see this before you build a menu, I can tell you that your pattern provides approximately 80 grams each of protein and fat, and 180 grams of carbohydrates (45% or less of total energy).

MemberHi, I just joined. English is not my first language and I’m still learning. What do I do next and what kind of food i need to eat to keep protein and carbs at the right balance.

MemberHi, Asienka. No problem. What is your preferred language? Russian? If so, I will connect you with a Russian-speaking dietitian – just let me know.
In the meantime, I will write a response to your question in English:
The Menu Planner application generates menus for you based on your nutritional needs and in the right balance. The balance is quite simple: about 1 gram each of protein and fat for every 3 grams of carbohydrate. We recommend to have at least 5 total fruits/vegetables each day, and at least 3 servings of calcium-rich foods and beverages each day. When you enter the personal version of the Menu Planner, you can select the foods that you like, guided by our color coding system wherein the healthiest foods are in the lighter shades of blue.
We do have reading materials that explain our recommendations and how the Menu Planner works, and if you wish, we can arrange to have it in a language that may be suitable for you. You can start the menu process through this link: http://www.trimdownclub.com/menu-planner.December 7, 2016 at 5:18 pm #37167Asienka3
