MemberI just signed up. Have questions about the yogurt. Are the yogurt (low fat/Greek) PLAIN?
I ask because I love yogurt but do not like plain yogurt. Can they be vanilla flavored or with fruit flavored?
Also, with these meals, can they be cooked ahead of time. Because with work, these would not be able to cook at work.
Also, it seems like a lot of food to buy on the list, but I am guessing that this will not be that expensive every week.
Also, I found a bread called “goodbye gluten”. Is this bread ok as I am tryouts no to be GF and have not found no any other bread that I liked. First two ingredients is water and rice flour.January 19, 2017 at 8:58 pm #37507Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Laney. Yes, the yogurts are all plain here. We encourage you to flavor it yourself with better ingredients than are used in pre-flavored types – it is actually better if you add vanilla extract and/or fresh fruit and moderate amounts of a high-quality sweetener such as Stevia, erythritol, or even maple syrup, rather than too much refined sugar and fruit syrups stripped of nutritional value
Cooking ahead of time is an excellent idea – you can freeze items and reheat them throughout the week. Your initial upgrade does indeed involve more shopping, but as you continue, it is just replacing foods as they run out.
Regarding your bread, as long as most of it is whole grain, it’s fine. - AuthorPosts
