Tagged: Reducing recipes
I just joined and am disappointed to see the serving sizes of some of the recipes. I live alone and there is no way I could consume 9-12 servings of a dish even if I ate it 1x day for a whole week. I understand how to reduce the number of serving but how do you reduce them to 1-2 without losing the essence of the recipe?
Please give examples of recipes that you wish to use, and I will work them out for you.
I think it would be best if the recipes were originally for 2 servings – it is easier to increase or double a recipe than to reduce it – I agree – there is no way I will even try a recipe for more than 2 servings – not cost effective and frustrating when you want to follow the program but keep hitting roadblocks to make it interesing
