Menus do not give information on how to cook the items. Specifically, whether any fats or oils can be used in addition to any items on the menu for such things as vegetables, salad. How do you cook with no fats or sprays, as don’t wish to turn on oven every time.
Hi, CWeare. Each major meal has a source of fat – this is often olive oil for cooking, or a sauce of some sort. You can swap that for whatever is suitable. Note that you can use vegetable broths to cook meats, and use herbs and spices for seasoning without gravies. There are more ideas on our main Program Guide, and of course in our recipe collection.
