I lost almost 100 pounds last year. But this things have been really crazy. And on top of everything else I found out about 2 months ago that I am going though the change. Can that cause you to gain weights? And my sugar is all out of wacky. I am trying to eat like I am supposed to but am having trouble being to able to stick to it 100% because of so many doctor appointments. Please help. I am getting so frustrated.

Hi, ConnieSides, and congratulations on your progress. Note that this program has been designed with women like you in mind, and aims to help balance the hormonal changes.
There are a couple of options for dealing with the time constraints:
If you don’t have time to eat the “snacks,” just be sure your other meals include the missed exchanges.
Try carrying with you snack items that are easy to access and consume, such as nuts, fruit, and shakes or soups in thermoses (see our recipe collection for ideas).

I joined the Club on June 5th. I had just lost 20 pounds through a low cal diet and wanted a sensible diet to love the final 10 pounds.
Unfortunately, I have GAINED 14 pounds!

I love the menues. I am an amateur cook so the preparation is easy. I feel great, and I have really firmed up; but, I still have that pot belly. I try to follow each of the daily six menues. I do have a cocktail ten times a week vodka with water) but I followed that routine when I was on the other diet.

Now that it looks like I have lost the fat, may I expect to start reducing the weight? Will the Club’s menues change to help me lose the 14 pounds that now need to be shed? Please help me.

Hi, William. It’s great to read that you are more fit. Following a significant weight loss, the body sometimes does go into plateau mode (without loss, or even with gain), especially if the loss was due to a major reduction in the amount of food. The best way to deal with this is to engage in physical activity – if you have been active, then change the regimen (ideally every three weeks) to wake up new muscles. If you would like more guidance with this, please do repost here, and I would be happy to help in whatever way I can.
