Is this similar to the 40,30,30 plan??
Hi, ndpatty62. The distribution of macronutrients is similar – we are about 40-45 carbohydrates, 20-25 protein, 35-40 fat.
If we try to eat within the ratios of 40-45 carbohydrates, 20-25 protein, 35-40 fat, as you wrote above, at each meal, would that give us the results we want? Or do we still have to be restricted to serving sizes? The video made it sound like counting calories was not needed. Let me know if this is correct.
Hi, kangaru. Serving sizes are important even when not counting calories, because it puts the focus on meeting (vs. exceeding) nutritional needs.
