MemberI have been doing my 5th week menu. I have made the Texas Goulash Recipe but I don’t find it listed so that I can pick it for my menu. How am I supposed to be able to add it ? I also wonder if I have a Minus 1 in red is that a big issue ? Am I right in reading the PROS as proteins ?

MemberHi, ZipLiner. If you use the personal version of the Menu Planner application (access it by clicking on the “My Food Choices” icon in the toolbar above your current menu), you will see some of our recipes in the “Recipes” subcategory of each major food group. For newer recipes that have not yet been added into the system, you can use them to substitute for the main ingredient in your meal. You can also match up the exchanges visible at the end of each recipe and when you click on “Exchange mode” in the toolbar above your menu. It doesn’t need to be a perfect match to work – if you get a minus/red indicator, just try to compensate at another meal or extra few minutes of exercise if you can.
And yes, “pro” = protein.July 31, 2018 at 4:21 pm #41694ZipLiner
MemberThank you. Even though the Texas Goulash recipe is able to be printed, it is not listed where it can be added to the meal plans. I had already gone by the exchanges on the bottom of the recipe and added cottage cheese to the menu but would have preferred for it to show Texas Goulash, which by the way is very good.
