MemberWhat can be done in the time after dinner. I get really hungry and go on a binge. Yes I need to stop however easier said than done. I take heavy meds the doc says causes weight gain. Is there a snack that will satisfy hunger. I really want to loose weight – approx. 30 lbs.

MemberHi, Kattman. There are a couple of options.
First, you can try sipping light beverages, such as tea. This will keep your hands and mouth busy, and may be comforting and filling.
Second, try activities that distract you from eating – for example, hobbies that you like as much (or at least almost as much) as eating, or that keep you away from food. Even exercise may be an option – try taking walks with entertainment, like putting on headphones and listening to audiobooks or favorite TV shows you find on YouTube (stay safe, though!).
Third, try meditation – there are lots of instructional videos on the internet (for example, https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=meditation+binge+eating). Perhaps you will find ones that work for you. Some might even involve physical activity, such as yoga, which can also help with weight (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vX9FB1xYOE). - AuthorPosts
