MemberHow do I narrow down the number of ingredients in the list to use the same ingredients as much as possible? It is just me and I don’t want to have to spend $200 on groceries for one week!

MemberI also tend to be a creative of habit and eat a lot of the same stuff from day-to-day, so if I can have the same stuff consistently, it’s easier to plan for.

MemberUnfortunately, I do not see a way of narrowing down ingredients, nor has anyone replied to this post with an easier way. And, I don’t have time to spend correcting the menu, meal-by-meal for every day for the ingredients I do have on top of food preparation. This whole thing would be SO much easier if, instead, the menu was “Breakfast: 1/2 fruit, 1 protein, 1 carbohydrate” and then provide a food list. I’ve found myself translating it that way and that would be worlds easier to offer to members, but with having to select and change the majority of items on the menu, I’ll likely quit the program and find another program that lines things up better. My two cents.

MemberHi, ajaxx24. You are welcome to repeat dishes, meals, and even whole days in your menu. As for your request for menu-building, you can see the exchanges you are allotted by clicking on the “Exchange mode” icon in the toolbar above your menu; the exchange list is here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists. The Menu Planner subapplication allows you to build menus using this information – to get there, click on the circular arrow icon on the far right side of each meal header, then follow the instructions there.
