I am doing this alone. I live by myself and I am wheelchair bound. I have 2 questions: 1. Is there a lesser amount of calories that I could have for the 6 meals a day? And : 2. It seems that this program caters to recipes for 4 or more with a few exceptions. Is there any way that the persons who make up these recipes make recipes for 1 or 2 servings. I am positive that many people on your plan would love to see recipes for singles. Thank you for your time. Mary-Ann
Hi, Maryann. Many of our newer recipes are for smaller portions, but for the older ones you can use our right-sizing tool here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/reducing-the-size-of-recipes.
Regarding reducing food amounts, you can cut back a little on the starchy carbohydrate foods (like breads, cereals, pastas, etc.) – but we do recommend sticking with the protein and produce foods.
Additionally, physical activity can help burn fat and maintain your strength. At the bottom of this page is a video for seated exercises: https://www.trimdownclub.com/sbs/standard-guide/week-1/week-2/week-3/.
