I like tuna but not anchovies is there anyway I can just leave them out or do they have to be replaced with something else?
Hi, Carly. You can just use more tuna, or leave out the anchovies. Either way is fine.
Fantastic thank you
I HATE FISH, CAN I SUB FOR GRILL CHICKEN? AND CAN I USE ARTICHOKE IN PLACE OF ANCHOVIES
Hi, Ilady. To replace the anchovies, use two artichokes hearts jarred in oil. However, you can add three more of these if you replace the tuna with 4 ounces of grilled chicken with skin; you will also need to add another tablespoon of olive oil to keep it keto-supportive.
can i sub this for a grilled chicken salad or something to may things i do not eat
like olives anchovies radishes and green beans.. can i do a salad with all the other veggies let tom onion add egg with chicken or another protein like shrimp with a Italian or balsamic dressing. the dressing with the raw egg doesn’t seem too appealing to me
Hi, Yolady. For the most part yes, but take care that the total fat content does not get too low, or it will no longer be keto-supportive. Substituting with chicken or shrimp is fine, but using more tomatoes and onions to replace the radishes and green beans may be iffy – try lower-carb options like cucumber, celery, zucchini (courgette), and salad greens. Raw egg in the dressing is not a requirement.
Soooo many ingredients. I’ll be paring this back.
Hi, Tweetie1808. That’s fine, but be sure to not cut back more on the fatty ingredients than the others, or it may end up no longer being keto-supportive. You are welcome to list here what you would eliminate, and I can get back to you with recommendations.
Why are all the recipes for servings of three? Any way to make them for just two so there aren’t leftovers and portions are easier to figure out?
Hi, Jkesl. Some of the recipes are for 1, 2, or 4, as well. I’m not sure what the reason is for the difference, but I will forward your feedback to the recipe development team.
Meanwhile, I encourage you to refrigerate or freeze any leftovers for later reheating, for when someone is in a hurry or needs to pack a meal.
I want to try diet, but I can’t eat eggs, the make me sick to the stomach. I don’t drink Milk, I hate anchovies,
Hi, Candy. You can swap out any food that doesn’t work for you. Just click on the edit or cross-out icon to the right of the item, and select an alternative from the pop-up list.
I do not see an edit or a cross-out icon, where do I find that?
Hi, Tazett. Let your mouse hover over the item in your menu – the icons will appear to the right of the item.
Is there a replacement for the goat cheese?
And how do I make a dressing without the anchovies?
Hi, Zsatisha. You can just leave out the anchovies.
Hi, Zsatisha. Any nut, seed, cheese or fatty meat or fish will do.
Is the calorie and Carb county for 1 serving or all 3
Hi, esumaran. That information is for 1 serving.
I checked a lot of the recipes and it calls for things like stubs. Organic eggs. Organic milk. And many more ingredients. Almond flour coconut flour. I have never used these products before
Hi, Ronnie9999. Eating healthy and using a keto diet is indeed a fairly new experience for many people. Note that organic is not essential, just a recommendation. You can get the foods you noted at health-oriented stores like Whole Foods Market and Trader Joes, and even some big box stores like CostCo, Target, and Walmart; you can also order them online from Target and Amazon.
For this item, it says, serves 3, do I split this in 3 meals or eat the entire 3 servings?
Is the calorie count for 1 serving or all 3?
Hi, KarenWhite. Not all three servings at once. You can either share with other people in your household at the same meal, or freeze the other two servings for later use.
Loved this salad – it was so yummy and so filling!
How to replace raw eggs and anchovies?
Hi, Nmirm. You can use mayonnaise instead of the egg, and more tuna instead of the anchovies.
What can I use in place of tuna and Anchovies?
Hi, Babiesue1969. You can use salmon and mackerel, or just one or the other. You can also just use more eggs (but we recommend omega-3 eggs).
I mention eggs twice whisk eggs then slice hard boiled what r u whisking
Hi, Markmchale1. The raw egg is what is whisked (the hard-boiled eggs are added as is to the salad).
