Ingredients

  • Spring Onions (Scallions), 1 medium (4-1/8" long) (15 g)
  • Garlic, 1 garlic clove (4 g)
  • Salt, 1/2 teaspoon (3 g)
  • Black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon (1 g)
  • Egg, 1 (43 g)
  • Bacon, chopped, 2 slices (52 g)
  • Rosemary, 2 teaspoons (1 g)
  • Thyme, 1 handful (2 g)
  • Oregano, 1 teaspoon (3 g)
  • Ground pork, minced, 1 1/2 pound (681 g)
  • Cream cheese, 4 oz (112 g)
  • Parsley, 1 tablespoon (4 g)

Instructions

  1. Chop the garlic and the spring onion.
  2. In a bowl, mix thoroughly with your hands all ingredients, except for cream cheese.
  3. Using an ice cream scoop, make meatballs (approximately the size of a golf ball).
  4. Squeeze the mixture into a ball then flatten into a circle.
  5. Place some cream cheese in the middle of the meatball circle, then close the meatball around the cream cheese.
  6. Repeat until all the mixture has been used. Then place the meatballs on a greased baking tray.
  7. Bake at 350°F/180°C for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
