There is a lot of avocado on this plan, I don’t like avocados. I don’t like the way they feel or the way they taste. what can I sub for avocados. For example, can I sub a bell pepper for the avocado in the tuna stuffed avocado?
Hi, cyndiaann. Avocado is a source of fat, which is key to keto – bell pepper is an OK addition, but can’t be a substitute. You can substitute for avocado with fully-fat cheese, nuts, seeds, and nut and seed butters, as well as olives, or sour cream – whatever fits the recipe in question.
