MemberI am a poor eater, love carbs and know they do not like me. I am not giving up because I need to be strong and healthy as I am a caregiver for my husband with Parkinson’s.
I know this is a healthy diet and when I do it I feel great but go back to being unhealthy. I HAVE to do it this time.April 15, 2020 at 5:52 pm #45508Ossie-Sharon
MemberHi, Readymom. I’m glad you’re not giving up, and we are here to support you however we can! Consider preparing only enough for single portions so that you’re not tempted to overdo. Try to think of things you like to do as much (or at least, nearly as much) as eating but that don’t involve food, and try to distract yourself whenever you feel an urge to binge coming on.

MemberAt night after dinner I have strong cravings for something sweet. Any suggestions. Sometimes fruit just not do it.

MemberHi, Readymom. For your last snack, you can have up to 25 grams of chocolate (preferably dark) with fruit, or ideally, plain yogurt that you sweeten yourself with Stevia and/or erythritol (or even a little maple syrup) with some fruit.
