Hello Sharon,
I have been adding olive oil to my cooking, is there a max I should use per day. Sometimes i cook my eggs with olive oil and i recently cooked my potatoes in oilive oil. Is that ok?
Hi, joycesevere16. There is no general limit to olive oil per se, but note that the fat and calories can add up very quickly. Each teaspoon yields about 42 calories and each tablespoon 126. How much do you think you use in a day? It would be worth paying attention, so that you don’t overdo. Note that if you like to use a lot, you can trade another high-fat food for it, e.g. olives or nuts.
