MemberHello everyone I am new and just joined today! I was looking at all the recipes and my meal plan. I have never really tried any type of diet before and know almost nothing about the keto diet. I love all the recipes on here and the meal plan but some of them look a little complicated. Does anyone have any keto friendly suggestions for quick and easy recipes? Also what are the top foods to avoid?

MemberHi, Ashley29, and welcome! The structure of the keto diet is simply that you must eat more fat than the combination of protein+carbohydrates. This sends your body into ketosis, which can help control appetite and boost fat-burning. The top foods to avoid are anything that is very high in carbohydrates, such as starchy foods (regular breads and cereals, for example – there are keto-supportive versions of those, though).
For simple meals, click on the edit tool to the immediate right of any recipe, then scroll to the bottom of the pop-up list. You will see meal “ideas,” and when you select then enter those, you will see options that may suit you. We have quite a few recipes, and some of them are simpler than others – you can also make extra when you have more time, then freeze portions for later reheating.
