    Hi, kram309. The weights of cereals vary, so I’m including some examples of weights for 1/4 cup below:
    COLD CEREALS
    “Chex,” “O”-shaped, or cornflake-type cereal = 7-7.5 grams
    Bran flake-type cereal = 11.5 grams
    Puff-type cereal = 3.5-4 grams
    Cluster-type cereal (such as granola) = 28-30 grams
    HOT CEREALS
    Cooked = 60 grams
    Uncooked = 40 grams
