srcgrimmMemberMy plan is the low sugar menu. I know carbs and
Sugar are directly related, but questioning if plan is too many carbs for a diabetic menu?August 18, 2020 at 2:44 pm #46504
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, srcgrimm. The plan is overall low in carbs, about 40-45% of calories (compared to up to 70% in a regular diet).

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Francee52. No worries – this program is based on principles of diabetes management. It is even based on the same exchange system as is used by diabetes organizations around the world.

BillieguidiParticipanthow many carbs are allowed each day? How would I count them count them each day. and the menu will show an egg omlet each morning, are you allowed to have anything else with it? fruit ,tomatoes etc?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Billiguidi. Everyone is allotted a different amount of carbs. You can see what’s in your plan by clicking on the “Exchange View” button above your menu.
Since you are on the keto plan, additions to the menu are limited to low-carbohydrate vegetables like greens, cucumber, zucchini, celery, radishes, kohlrabi and turnips.August 29, 2020 at 5:29 pm #46613
