ParticipantWhat are the best veggies for this plan

MemberHi, ppatterson1976. All vegetables are great for this plan. We do recommend that you get as much of a variety as possible from the various types, such as green leafies, tomatoes, squashes (including cucumbers), onions, and root vegetables (carrot, turnip, beet, etc.). Keep in mind that vegetables such as potatoes, parsnips, corn, and peas are considered carbohydrates, and are not part of the “Vegetables of Your Choice” options.

ParticipantDoes anyone have any good seasonings for vegetables other than salt. Thanks in advance.

MemberHi, Pjandtig. For raw vegetables, lemon or lime juice and vinegars are great seasonings. For cooked vegetables, garlic, dill, pepper, and paprika are very popular – these have the best flavor when added while sauteing the vegetables.

ParticipantHow can I calculate the vegetales grams?

MemberHi, Lisbely32. Vegetables amounts in grams is something you can see by weighing yourself or by looking up the information, since weights are generally different for all vegetables. Here is a good reference: https://weightofstuff.com/average-weight-of-all-fruits-and-vegetables/.
