I started this today. I ate 3 eggs and a banana at 615 am. I drank 1 liter of water and a cup of coffee with almond milk. I did not get hungry until 1200. Then I ate 2 servings of veg, 1/2 cup potato, Greek yogurt and some walnuts. I drank 2 more liter of water. By 8 pm I was not hungry but I ate a fruit and yogurt and cashews. I skipped a snack and dinner. Should I eat even though I am not hungry?

Hi, twonurses2, and welcome. I’m glad to read that you’re not hungry. It is best that you eat in tune with your hunger and satiety signals, so don’t stress too much about finishing the food. We just recommend a couple of things –
1. Try to avoid eating so little that you end up on a semi-starvation plan (this can result in rebound weight gain).
2. Try to ensure that you get at least 5 total fruit/vegetable servings and 3 high-calcium food/beverage servings each day.
