Hi Can I add fruit into Keto plan?

    #47255

Hi, Corina2018. Fruit is challenging on a keto plan, because most are high in carbohydrates. Those that are lower include raspberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, and cassava melon. It is important to maintain more fat in the plan than the combination of carbohydrate and protein, so be sure to have a source of fat with any fruit – such as whipped cream, dark chocolate, fatty cheese, etc.

Thank you. I am new to Keto. I am also trying to eat plant based but those are high in carbs. Really struggling to find my niche.

Hi, Corina2018. Good for you for going plant-based! Keep in mind that nuts, seeds, nuts/seed buttery spreads, coconut products, olive products, oils, and avocados are all plant-based and keto-friendly, and can be added to offset carbohydrates and proteins.

How many net carbs can u consume in a day?

    #47350

Hi, dollydollydo. Everyone has a different amount, and it depends on body weight. At your current weight, you are allotted about 25 grams of net carbohydrates each day. You can see the information about your macronutrients by clicking on the “Macros” button above your menu.
