I am not being unreasonable, I am being REAL. I am 57, and vegetables are not in my wheelhouse, and I know they won’t be, I cannot stand them except cucumbers. How do I TRUTHFULLY fulfill the diet plan when I am not going to be eating everything on the menu?
Hi, j140607. Cucumbers are fine to have every day, no worries. If you like fruit, you can use them in place of vegetables by substituting one fruit for each two servings of vegetable. If you’re a diabetic, consider going more for the lower sugar items like berries (frozen without added sugar is best) and orange melons – high sugar options like apples, pears, bananas, grapes, and pineapple are find for occasional treats.
