I’ve carefully selected which food I like in the meal planner, but when I try to swap out foods in the meal plan it only gives me options of foods I specifically do not have checked. For instance it gives me turkey, and when I try to switch it out the only option I get is a list of fish I don’t care for. Anone else have this problem?

yes! I have spent hrs on this meal planner and get stuff I either dont like or cant find in a store around me or the pairing of foods dont make sense. To time consuming and frustrating.

    #5665

I have forwarded your issues to the tech support team.

Yes. I had the same problem. One of the reasons we select a program like this is because the meals are somewhat planned out. But how many people have the option of a hot lunch? Not me! Also, lifestyle questions would help narrow down how we live and what we need. For instance, if you travel daily, how does that affect you? Or if you live in a small town that only has Ezekial bread (augh!) and not tortillas or English muffins, what do you do?

    #6105

You don’t need to have a hot lunch – note the many fixings for sandwiches (including items that you can cook the night before and put between bread slices instead of over rice, etc.) and portable foods such as nuts and fruits.

Yes I have to agree it seems like an awful lot of work and so many of the ingredients I can not even source in the UK. However I am going to give it a go and hope that I can get into some sort of routine with it.

Just finished my favorites – went to get my menu and they do not offer all the options I gave. Bummer.

Hi, Terry G. What options are you not seeing?

Hello Ossie, I’m still kinda new & haven’t really began the diet per say. I’ve changed some of my eatting habits but still trying to figure this diet out. I love all the input from everyone and am really looking forward to beginning 100% after my vacation next week. I too am having difficulty with the menu plan, it either gives me items that make no sense or items that are more prep time then I have at the time. When I try to change something out it gives me things that I don’t care for. Can you tell me what the simple plan would be? For instance, Breakfast – protein & carb & fruit? Lunch same? Or lunch – protein, carb & vegetable? Dinner -Protein, carb, vegetable & fruit? Snack – whatever goes together. I believe with all the suggestions you’ve provided I can pick & choose what I can eat at the particular time & make sure that I combine the meals correctly. Any help you can provide I would greatly appreciate the help.

Yes ‘heathermom’, I too am getting gabbage out of the menu planner. I get a ‘smack’ with 20 pretzles, cup of bell peppers and a slice of bread.???? For a dinner I got this:
•1 Tbsp of Honey Mustard Dressing
    •2 ounces of Tilapia Grill
•1 cup of Butternut Mung Bean Soup
    •1 cup of Cabbage
•2 Tbsps of Low-Fat Sour Cream
    •1/2 cup of Black-Eyed Beans

Even better a late night snack:
    •1/8 tsp of Mustard
    •1 cup of Vegetable Juice
    •2 slices of Rye Bread
•1/4 cup of Egg Substitute, Egg White Based, In Oil
•1 ounce of Cold cuts, Beef, Lean
Something is wrong here! Glad they have a 60 moneyback policy.

Hi, Chubabubba. I have forwarded your examplaes to the tech support team. In the meantime, feel free to move the foods around there to whatever combinations you want – the point is that over the course of 24 hours, they together meet your nutritional needs for the day.

    #7866

Hi, CGoode. You have the right idea about the Menu Pattern. Be sure to get sources of calcium in there as part of your proteins. For the snacks, squeeze in extra fruits and vegetables and a little protein.
