Why are coffee and tea suggested as part of your snack ? I do not think of these as nutritional foods. Are they not just free beverages like water ?

They are free beverages, but it is preferable to choose green, red, or white tea instead of black (or herbal, of course). For coffee, if you can go organic, that is best.
