I’ve only done a few of the recipes for these so called desserts, and so far they’ve been tossed after the first bite. I understand that this is a diet/lifestyle change, but my sweet tooth is getting to me. I attempted the chocolate and cream cheese brownies, as well as the lemon muffins. Neither were very good. One taste and they both ended up in the trash. Is there something missing from the recipes? Or is it just my taste buds? What are some good options for desserts? (Also, I’m not attempting to eat dessert every night, but once or twice a week, a sweet treat would be nice!)
Thanks for your honesty. It saves me the trouble of trying them myself. Funny, the dessert menus were the first place I went. I have a sweet tooth too and I’m always looking for a low-cal treat.
I prefer to have a little of the real thing. I’ve been getting klondike bars and sharing one with my husband…1/2 is only 125 calories. I also buy herseys kisses and have 4 – 5 about 120 calories. This keeps me happy.
Best, Toni
