ooo! I am going to try grilled salmon with this…have a great recipe for cedar plank grilled salmon.
Hi, hornford. This recipe is designed for a more solid type of tuna, but you can always try it with canned tuna – if you get the type in oil, be sure to drain and rinse it so that the intense flavor does not overwhelm the seasonings here.
Hi, rmchenk. The wine is added with the tomatoes and water.
Hi, AnnaLouise. Green onions are also known as scallions, or as “spring” onions in the UK.
Hi, rhoda. Yes, you can substitute any seafood or even organic tofu here.
This was delish!!! Few adjustments/changes/additions: marinated tuna steaks in lemon juice and capers about an hour. Did NOT bake in oven 2 mins each side in sizzling hot skillet. Used white wine no water out of opened red wine so splashed in white instead. Used unsalted butter instead of olive oil to cook veggies. Hubby does not like fish he smacked his lips and said, “good job, really tasty” Kudos to us all ;o)))
where does the wine get added? or is that for the Chef?
I’m not familiar with tuna steak…can I replace it with canned tuna?
