Tagged: monk fruit sweetener
I know that TDC recommends monkfruit as a sweetener and when I saw it for the first time in the store I shop at today I grabbed it and figured I’d give it a try. It is Monkfruit In The Raw in 40 packets per box. When I got home I looked at the box more closely and the ingredients read: Dextrose;monkfruit extract. I was a little leery about the dextrose and being the first ingredient. Do I have anything to be concerned about? Is there actually another form of monkfruit I should be looking for? Thanks, KD
The amount of dextrose is extremely tiny, and no need for concern there. There is only one other product currently available, called “Monk Fruit In the Raw,” also good.
