Hi all, hope your all well. Thanks APENSA, I had a lovely Mother’s Day here. Good luck with making the right choices when eating out, with your vast knowledge I’m sure your do good.
Horselover, to up load a photo click on your name up in the right hand corner it takes you to your edit profile page, then click again on the part where a picture would go, this takes you to the page for up-loading a picture, if it does work directly on that page, you could upload a picture on the Gravator site and it will add on here too, good luck and hope to see you soon.
JIJ3808, just wanted to say nearly everyone that joins Trimdown says its to much food, but it does seem to work. When you say everyday you go on there seems more food, do you mean more quantity or different menus? When you check the next day for your menu, do you generate a new weekly menu on the apps page or scroll down to the menu history app and open your weekly menu planner there? just saying because for the first week I didn’t notice the menu history app which holds all weekly menus you generated, rather than making a new one each day. Remember give Ossie an account of your details and menu history and she’ll keep you on track, any other problems with negotiating the site just add another post and someone will always help you out. Oh and good luck on your personal plan.
    Take care all.

    Hi everyone,

We hosted a 16 people BBQ at our place for Mothers day. Lots of all dressed burgers, Jumbo hot dogs, mild white cheese, lots of vegies combinations. Enjoyed my red wine! At least I did not have beer. We are allowed to go astray once in awhile. So I hope everyone enjoyed mothers day.

    horselover:

That’s why I look like a Canadian geese… The picture is not necessary we are here to talk about healthy food and getting back on track. Its your really and totally optional. When I joined I had pictures of my wild flowers at home. Since I go to Florida twice a year for a month I decided the Canadian Geese would be a good choice.

Speaking of food slimasharon, there are many low fat, low sodium, low cholesterol cheeses that are available. They are high in protein and might help get back on track.

jackiee: That’s quite a menu you have there. You must spend a lot of preparation time. Is the cod your using from a fish farm?

Dropped another pound today…that makes 13 total for me now. I forgot to take my meds last night, and this morning my blood sugars were still good! I went to a BBQ last night, but fortunately they had a ton of fruit choices and served lean chicken (it was smoked and it was delicious!)

horselover…You’re right, I do live in St. George, UT. My name is Katie. The farmer’s market is held every Saturday from 8 AM – 12:00 PM. They have live music and it is at Ancestor Square off of St. George Blvd.
I know the fruit stand that you are talking about, it is Frie’s in Santa Clara, and I love their produce too. I have not been out there this season, however. I started this program on January 28, 2013 and have only lost 13 pounds. I wish is would come off faster, but I am so happy with the 4 1/2 inches that I have lost, the satisfaction I feel with being able to eat plenty of food, the good recipes that are provided on this service, and the good results that pleased my doctor my last visit. So I highly recommend following the program and being patient with it. Many lose faster than I do, but I look at it as long as I’m going in the right direction, I’ll stick with it. It fact, this is not a diet, but a new way of life! Occasionally I’ll have a sweet and I’ve found that they just simply don’t taste as good as they use to taste. I love the fresh taste of goodness and it makes me proud of myself for making the right choices. So good luck to you, this program really does work!

Trying this, just started yesterday. Tried Weight Watchers – didn’t like it — too much tracking and still felt hungry. 🙁 So far, have not felt that way with this diet. Fingers crossed!

Hi All, hope your all well,
RADISSON, I buy fish from different places here depending on what on offer and where I am, if I lunch down in Rimini with a friend, we go stand by the pier and get something of the fishing boats when they come in after lunch time (from the Adriatic) The local fish shops, markets and stalls have fresh fish from the Adriatic or Mediterranean sea (and they clean most the fish for me too 🙂 . Although I have been known to buy the odd piece of frozen fish when it’s on special offer, so it’s not always fresh. I’m not very good at sticking to the exact choice on my menu, I don’t think I have done a full day without swapping at least 5 items on my menu. I eventually printed off a list of all the things I could swap in each category to save time always logging on to see what I can change stuff too. I’m also quite a plain cook so I tend to bulk cook things like potatoes and have them over 3 days, 1st day boiled, 2nd day some thrown in a salad and 3rd day mashed or put in with the fish in the oven. Maybe my constant swapping is why I’m staying on a plateau weight wise? although found out today my thyroid meds needed upped a bit so fingers crossed it was that has been keeping me from losing more weight.
KATIE, well done on more weight lose, your really doing great. I took a leaf from your book and have been doing a bit of rearranging in the apartment, it’s amazing how a little shift about can change the ambiance of the place.
MMV2013, good luck on your personal plan.
Well I changed my exercise routine today, as Angelina’s off nursery again with conjunctivitis so we were salsacising today, best fun I’ve had in a long time. She would just get into a step routine and when it changed she’d tell me ‘NO cosi e cosi’ (not like that like this) then look up at the TV and let out a big sigh then change the dance step, and 16 counts later say and do exactly the same thing, I wasn’t sure if the stitch in my side was from laughing so much or dancing so much, either way it was great. Tempted to keep her of nursery again tomorrow just to dance with her again 🙂

    Hi everyone!
    jackiee:
Talk about fresh fish from the Ocean and freshly pressed olive oĂŻl right around the corner. Wow all those Italian pasta and various Italian wines. You are right there, so what if you can’t find some SWG cereal. It must be real hard for you to be on TDC. Take care!

Do you ever wish internet had never been invented? lol I spent 2 hours today on the phone with my internet provider and my Wi-Fi connection and finally got my internet up and running again. I am so glad that I took all this equipment out of my cabinet and put it on open desks in my bedroom! It is much easier to get to the connections when adjustments need to be made. I just wish I understood the technology better…I’m still dumb founded when it come to radio waves, let alone internet! lol
One of my sons and my son-in-law are the geniuses with computers, unfortunately they both live too far away from me to be of any assistance.
I did miss checking my menu choices for the last two days, but I pretty well have the hand of it now, so I was still being good!

Jackie…I’m glad you’re enjoying your rearrangements in your apartment. I still sit back and think, “Yeah, that does look better and definitely works out better for me, so I’m glad I went to the trouble of making the changes.

I didn’t get to the gym today because I had to have some work done on my car, visited with a shut-in neighbor, was on the phone for the two hours working the kinks out of my internet service, and finally had a service man come and install a digital converted for my old TV. I cringe when I think of more technology! This is when I wish I was married and could let a man worry about it! lol

Life is good though, so don’t get discouraged. We are all in this together.

Thanks everyone for your comments and advise!
