Hi, where do I find my own menu that was created especially for me. I am finding it really hard to navigate around this website. can someone help me please.

Hi, Desaleux. Have you entered the Menu Planner (in “Apps” above)? When you finish going through each meal and choosing your foods (be careful to choose the minimum number per food group), at the end of the Snacks tab (scroll down), you will see the “Finish” icon – click on that, and your daily/weekly menu will pop up.

OSSIE: Why not use the choices: “Limited” meaning you can eat certain veggies in certain amounts. Use “FREE” if we can eat all veggies in any amount. So much easier to understand.

Liz….welcome…..I think you will really enjoy this group and the program. There are a lot of friends that can help you and what is important, I think, is that you can get into the program as much as you like. Just the tips on the right and wrong foods is a great help. Good luck.

Just joined and reviewed the materials. Why is LAMB missing from the diet?

    #13366

Hi, southx, and welcome. Lamb will be added. It has not been a part of the planner due to the relatively high saturated fat content. If you have access to lean lamb, it can work. In the meantime, you can substitute lamb for beef.

I’m new also. Can you use the same menu two days in a row because I have food left over that will spoil if we don’t eat it. Thanks

hi, Gina! I have seen this answer before. Yes, you can repeat a menu day to use up food. Another trick I use is to put the food in individual snack bags, labeled w/ the name of the dish and freeze it. It really helps so I don’t have to do so much cooking all the time! I just grab out the bag of the item I need, and it’s alreay measured or weighed!! I now have about 6 different menu items in my freezer! I love it!! 😉

Hi blessing, I do the same thing, I need to have a sorting system now, lots of little bags in the freezer! I put some in plastic trays so I can find them easier, but I’m not too organized 🙂

haha. I know what you mean. I went to the dollar store and purchased some of those cheapie bright colored plastic baskets. They fit perfectly into my fridge and hold a good number of those little bags!

AHHH! Great idea! I hadn’t even done that!! haha … I just like bright colors! (as you can see from my pic!)

Okay, just over one week and I’m feeling a bit despondent – I’ve actually gained 2 lbs! Where am I going wrong? I’m following it more or less to the letter – measuring everything. A few evening meals I’ve had to be inventive with because of lack of ingredients – but still trying to keep the same theme going. It feels wrong to be eating so much thru the day, but I have to admit that my energy levels are so much better and in general I feel better. But I would like to shift some weight as well…
