jackieeMemberThanks Bev, its soooo good to see you on here again. The guy did mean what he said, but I have put it behind me now and really I should be used to it by now. Just sometimes I find it difficult to take the blunt (bordering on darn right rude) talking here.
A few questions if anyone can help. Has anyone very tried freezing the Tomato Broccoli Cheesy Potato Bake and how was it? and would it be ok to swap one flavour of muffin for another on the menu? so that I don’t need to make to many different flavours in one week.

apensaMemberCan’t help you with the freezing thing but wanted to give you some support, Jackiee. This too will pass.

WhiskerMemberHi, Jackiee! I made that Tomato Broccoli Cheesy Potato Bake. I saved it in the fridge. It tasted very nice when reheated.

RadissonMemberHi everyone!
Meagan Lee:
You are absolutely right any Interval training should be done with care. Get your doctor approval, increase frequency as you start feeling better. No rush. I had done a previous article about this, but forgot to include warnings. Glad you caught it. Thanks!
jackiee: Don’t get mad get even… Show us what you can really do. Who cares about innocent or ignorant bystanders. It’s time to get to it! Come on, you can do it!
Seaborngirl: Hi there! I am glad to see your alive and kicking. Hope you found a way to cope with your ailment. Don’t stay silent so long. A lot of people are facing same issues. We need your input. Take Care!

stgeofunMemberJackee…what you need to know is that right from the beginning i found you to be a delightful person. The comment that should have been made is this, “WOW! What a great mum this woman is to bring her daughter to the park and spend quality time with her. And here you were even going as far as preparing a healthy picnic. The guy probably went home to his pasta and wine! lol I think you’re wonderful. I lot can be learned from talking to people online. I’m really glad that I have met you.
Bev..way to go mate! Can I say that? lol So good to see you back on board. You are another sweet person and Newbies 2013 just has not been the same without you.
apensa…Now here is a guy who alway makes us smile.
raddison…are you female or male? I can’t tell from the bird! lol You always have good advise. Thanks for your comments.
Welcome to the rest of you. I have not been online quite as much as I was, but I am still following the program. My life has just been super busy lately and won’t get quiet anytime soon. I leave for Eastern Europe on the 19th and will be gone for three weeks. So I expect to hear good things about all of you when I return.
BTW, I don’t remember if I told anyone on here, but on August 30 I got another grandson! That makes five grandsons and 11 grand daughters. Nothing is better than being a grandmother.Stay positive everyone…we’ll do this together!

stgeofunMemberHey Everyone,
Went back to my Book Review class today, after the summer break, and one of the classmates asked if I had lost weight over the summer! It’s a good day today! 🙂September 11, 2013 at 8:52 pm #14875
dusty0318MemberHowdy every other newbie. In one way I’m eager to start and other way I’m afraid. I’ve been on a starvation diet for a few months now and I can’t go on like that. I’ve been looking at the menu planner and I notice the snacks are quite substantial.
Anyway, I’ll shut up for now. Good luck to all.September 11, 2013 at 10:36 pm #14878
jackieeMemberHi all, hope you all getting on well.
Your right Radisson and I have been doing that, sticking to my diet plan and also planning starting the exercise next week when the wee one returns to nursery. The local gym does a session for interval training so might give it a try when I get bored with swimming.
Oh Katie, thanks very much for your kind words and a big DITTO, where about in eastern Europe are you off to. I do hope Italy is on the menu as I know you love it. And congratulations on your new grandson, and wow 16 grandchildren must keep you busy.
DUSTY, oh your going to love this plan after doing a starvation plan, good luck and just add a post if you have a question or need help or even moral support,
Apensa, thanks for being you. In fact thanks to you all, for being you (sorry I can’t name everyone personally) as each and everyone of you have been so supportive with the comments – question and answers ect that get posted on here. Lots of information, feedback from recipes, advice on keeping fit etc. Another big thank you too Ossie Sharon, for all the wonderful advice.
Stay positive and take care all.
p.s I had a fabulous lunch the other day with another fellow Scot, we both opted for the Chief special, we weren’t quite sure what the ‘Ferro’ was as it translates to ‘iron’ so we gave it a try, when it came out we looked at each other with surprise and said it’s barley (something us Scots love in our homemade soups). Barley, onion, croquet (zucchini), tuna and sweetcorn, it was delicious. Could this class as a trim down recipe as it was so yummy?

apensaMemberDusty…..I’m sure I am not the only one who is wondering, but did that starvation diet do any good? Clinically your body has probably suffered, but what’s worse is the mood altering effects of such a diet. It is hard to be happy and smiling when you are not happy and smiling. Take a look at the philosophy behind TDC and give it a try. Oh, before you ask; SWG is “Sprouted Whole Grain”.

apensaMemberjackiee…..that brodo (soup) sounds fantastic. I love barley in my soup…..as well as my beer. Not sure about the tuna though. I think I might opt for some beef or chicken. Thanks for the kind words.

MemberAfternoon sailors!!!! Well first of all,
Jackie, I second Katie’s and Radisson’s words to you! Ignore people like that, and anyway, he doesn’t even know you!!! Who cares what he thinks!!!
Radisson, I thought silence was golden…especially to you fellas! Lol. I am still very tired, and had a few little health issues due to chest infections, etc, again this year, which has explained why I have been so tired!!! Very hard to lose weight when you are dragging yourself around of course…but got to get the weight off so I can start eliminating a few things!
Thanks for your encouragement guys.
Katie…thankyou for your lovely words…I don’t know if my husband would agree that I am “sweet”, but I am what I am to him as much as I am to everyone else, and some think I am “sweet”, some think I am “a joy to be around”, some think I am “nuts”, some think I am “too opinionated” (but that is because they don’t like my opinions, not because I expect them to have the same as mine)…but whatever I am, I am me and I am happy enough with that…except for being so overweight!!! Lol.
Trying to get my head around all this food stuff again, and an American friend who is here for the year and part of our church, has got a pool (heated since yesterday!!! yay!!!), so I will be joining her for some exercise there a couple of times a week! Should help a little with the exercise part anyway!
Hope all is going well….got to jump ship for now….cheers..Bev.September 12, 2013 at 6:25 am #14886
jackieeMemberAhoy there matey 🙂 just a quick word Bev, to say I’m so happy you have a friend with a pool to get back to swimming as I know its something you used to enjoy so much. I bet you have a good old blether and giggle while getting those laps done, have fun.
