Hi, Emma! Welcome! Have you tried out the Menu Planner? If not, try it. It tells you what to eat and exactly how much for your particular individualized plan. (So it cuts out the guesswork.) There are little blue arrows next to every item so you can exchange it for something else if it is not what you would like to eat. Good luck! 🙂

I have chosen the foods for the different meals but have never received any information. What am I doing wrong?

Hmmmmmm….Seaman….when you finish selecting your foods and clidk finish….it should take you to the menus for the whole week day by day.???????

Hi, EmmaCompton. It depends on the portion sizes. If you are talking about what the Menu Planner gave you, then the portions are already calculated according to your needs. Hopefully you also received a source of protein at the meal, such as milk or yogurt.

    Thanks, BlessingCatcher and Apensa! 🙂

Hello, I am a newly enrolled and am in the process of getting started. I have made a couple of menus, one with lots of things checked and one with things that I actually have on hand checked. I am currently on a different diet plan and intend to use it until I figure out this one. then I hope to gradually shift over.

I think the diet planner is cumbersome and could be made easier to use. why do we have to check things for each meal? Why not just check foods we like once and let it plan from that?

redijegg……I think Ossie will be able to give you a better explanation, but I think the program tries to give you as much leeway as possible and allows you to make choices among several options. At least that is the way I read it. I too feel it is too many choices but that is my take of it.

Hi, radijegg, and welcome. And thanks, Apensa. Yes, the intent is to give more leeway. I want to add that the first time going through the lists is the most cumbersome, and then here and there you might make small changes, but you can also keep using the same selections or even weekly menus.

    Hi everyone,
I went to the store a bought the food that I need. I bought Organic chicken, lunch meat and the SWG bread and English muffins. This morning I made scrambled eggs (organic) with onions and cooked it in Organic butter and toasted the English muffins. I am going to make a whole organic chicken for dinner. my breakfast tasted real good so I believe this change is going to be great. One question I bought Quinoa what in the world do I do with that. Let me know.

Hi, Chrissy. Quinoa is generally prepared like rice. However, it is even more recommended to rinse before use and flavor the cooking water.

Can I change the measures used in the recipes from US to GB measurements

    #15037

Hi, Jenny. We are currently in the process of upgrading the recipes to include both.

Thank you Sharon, I will try it, flavoring the water, would cooking it in organic chicken broth work?
I made a great dinner. I made stuff peppers with chopped meat and a wonderful salad. I also made chicken breast that I cut in half and baked in the oven so I could take it to work for lunch. All of it was organic and it was great. I used olive oil and not corn oil. I never thought of using olive oil, who knew?
I did have to use regular bread crumbs but I picked up some SWG bread and will make bread crumbs out of it later. If this is the way to eat I am for it and if I can take off some weight that would be a plus. I only have to take off 100 pounds. Just a little over weight.
If I get hungry later tonight I will have some yogurt.
