seeborn…..I am also keeping it simple…and will add a recipe or two slowly.
As my daughter says…lifes too short to stuff a mushroom.
I have an aga and that helps as i use it as a slow cooker,.
it is brilliant with spelt/barley recipes. 😀

Oh wow Dawn!!! I got on there and clicked on the one that caught my eye first, and it was the Rusty Wreck…and there you were!!! Amazing….so that is what you do….yes, I love photography, and am always pulling out a camera to record something that catches my attention. Usually the grandkids…they make wonderful muses…but I love the ocean, ships, boats, clouds, landscapes, birds…they also make wonderful muses…our backyard is full of them. So, Dawn, I am not a photographer as such, but I am someone who loves photos and clicks away when I see something I want to record. I am more into digital scrapbooking and making calanders from my layouts and I have done a couple of books…one for our eldest daughter of her life, and one for my youngest brother who is dying, which was a geneology based one. I love to journal, as you can tell by my comments…I waffle away…heheh…but I love your photos, and am very impressed. It is a great way to get to know eachother by sharing our interests. So you must have found me on FB Dawn? Thankyou for sharing and bringing my attention to your work. Bev.

It is good to find there are other photographers here. Most of mine are of The Isle of Skye, I don’t get away much, and at present I hardly leave our home since I have this Sciatica. I put photos up on blipfoto.com

What is an aga Maddistealfox? Good to have someone who is doing the same thing…we can share notes!

An Aga is a cast iron stove originally fired by coal or wood but these days can be gas, oil or electric. They are constantly on and provide warmth and hot water. Many also provide central heating. There are other similar appliances like Rayburn.

    For those enquiring about SWG Bread;
    The Benefits of Sprouted Flour:
•Easier to Digest – Sprouting breaks down the starches in grains into simple sugars so your body can digest them like a vegetable (like a tomato, not a potato).
    •Increased Vitamin C – Sprouting produces vitamin C.
    •Increased Vitamin B – Sprouting increases the vitamin B content (B2, B5, and B6).
•Increased Carotene – Sprouting increases the carotene up to eight times.
•Increased Enzymes are actually produced during sprouting.
•Reduction of Anti-nutrients – Sprouting neutralizes enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid, which is a substance present in the bran of all grains that inhibits absorption of calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and zinc.

Aha the Aga!!! Oh yes I know what they are! Thanks so much Harbourview! I will not be buying one of those….too hot for one here! I am trying not to cook!!! Haha. I had a look at your photos Harbourview…some lovely shots there. I feel for you having sciatica…terrible thing! I have tendonitis in my feet, and shoulders, so very difficult to go for long walks, although that is my “new” plan…starting Monday.

Good morning world. Well, no lost wait today. The good thing however, is that I didn’t gain any either. But hey, the week is not over with yet.

Hey, I have a question. when my menu tells me to eat breakfast cereal, can I add milk too it, or do I need to eat it without milk. The thing is, it doesn’t say.

Hi everyone, how are you all doing round the world? feeling sorry for all the folks down under suffering the super heat wave, hope cooler weather get to you soon. How’s bonnie Scotland? oh I so miss home. Well it’s 2pm in Italy and I’m having a great motivating day. Done a wee run round the house with my daughter this morning (she’s off nursery with a wee bug) She loves playing chase me and it helps me get moving. I went on the scales today and was I shocked, I have managed to lose 1 1\2 kilos (think that 3.3lbs) on I’m only on day 3. I know people keep telling me I would lose a good amount my first week but with the thyroid problem I didn’t believe it, in the last 3 years I have tried healthy eating plans but if this diet is anything to go by looks like I wasn’t eating enough and enough or the right things. Love reading everyones comments on here, and now these even art. I love taking photos to but not professional..well keep up the great work everyone….even if everyone isn’t losing at the same rate its great that we’re all trying a more healthier eating lifestyle….have a great day….afternoon….or evening…and if your sleeping hope you have fun catching up on the diet chat when you get up…..p.s seen a new health shop in my local italian town today. They help make out a diet plan with healthy food option to lose weight. The girl came running out the door to give me a leaflet (wonder why!) she said I could read it at home and visit them later, I flicked though the leaflet and told her, ‘Sorry I have all this info and much more with the trimdownclub and comunity chat online….at the 1\4 of the cost’ – thanks again everyone for all the helpful info

sorry annaleeramos, I don’t know, but if you like the cereal without milk go with it, but if you need milk I’m sure a little of raw milk ect would hurt to much in the morning. I picked porridge on my plan and it has always said porridge with milk.

hi seaborn…yes the aga is a range cooker.
I turn it off when the summer is hot….but mostly it is on very low all the time. then when i roast i have to wack it up for 20 mins. it cooks beautifully…never drying food out.
I just came back home from the gym…then supermarket to do more stocking up and i came home to a chicken-veg and spelt slow casserole. I am stuffed now. I can’t ever remember being full. isn’t it great?.i looked in the freezer for the swg bread…no luck.
Harbourview…i do symathise ….sciatica is very painful.also-thanks for the bread info.
    latas…as the kids say! 🙂
