cntrybmpkn1MemberNew to site. Frustrated because the menu planner food selection is trying to make me add bread products (I don’t want to add any bread back into my diet, not even paleo), grains (which I need to eliminate due to health reasons), Because I’m low on my carb and protein selections it won’t push me through. I use protein powder, not on here. There are some selections for lunch and dinner that I would eat for breakfast. Also, there are some good recipes that I would like to add into the menu but there isn’t a way to. Not sure this was worth my money.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, cntrybmpkn1, and welcome. I highly recommend you use the full Personal Menu Planner application, so that you can choose the foods that go into your menu, and avoid the foods that don’t work for you. When you enter the “Apps” area (link near the top of each site page), it is the option all the way to the right.
Additionally, you can manually build your menus by just using any menu (including something basic like the “Popular Foods” menu that you already have), then clicking on the circular arrow icon at the top right of each meal. You will be brought to a subapplication in which you can choose each food and where it goes, and ignore carbohydrates altogether by just putting protein exchanges in their place.
If you would like additional help, please do repost here.

apensaMemberGlad to see people are still around. I think this is the first post to the community I’ve seen in a few months. Thought I’d say “Hi”, Ossie. I’m still fighting the “floaty” around my middle. Weight stays the same but that invitation to Liposuction is still there. I guess at 74 I can’t be the Adonis I used to be….LOL.

apensaMemberTinker belle: Just my suggestion; yes, it can be overwhelming at first. Relax and ease into it. Take a look at the food lists to familiarize yourself with some foods you probably never heard of……SWG is Sprouted Whole Grain….everybody asks that….LOL; then try some menus. Again, just my suggestion. Above all, leave the stress outside the front door.

carlajohnsonMemberDay One …seems way too much to eat! I am feeling too full tonight. Didn’t have the afternoon snack and am probably going to miss the evening snack too. Cannot physically eat that much food. Will this impact on weight loss..seems sooo opposite to what we believe in the weight loss world!
