MarcydMemberYes I just joined and can’t get the downloads…
Did start the menu planner and the results have me nervous as 1 day’s menu is more than I usually eat in 3 days. Should I still eat of thisApril 23, 2016 at 9:15 pm #35180
ImarilynmMemberI just joined and am confused about the menus. In your presentation you listed 5 foods to never eat and even though I already don’t eat 4 of them, I thought maybe this is a plan I could stick to. So I joined and while starting to plan my meals, I see corn and breads of all kinds listed in the planner. What?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Angela. It can be a little confusing. I encourage you to read our main program guide, which you can see in the “My Downloads” area (click on the link in the upper right corner to enter).

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Marcy. Can you post here what you would normally eat in a day?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Marilyn. The video discussed artificial or overprocessed versions of popular foods that should be healthy, but have been manipulated into being particularly harmful to your goals. Rather than giving up on them altogether, we encourage better versions in their original, natural forms. Regular “whole wheat” bread – this often also contains refined flours, so it is preferred to select “100% whole” grain products (wheat or other); however, even with these products, be sure to read the label and avoid hydrogenated fats or similar ingredients such as mono- and diglycerides. Similarly with corn, while processed corn products and foods with corn-based sweeteners are not recommended, fresh corn (especially non-GMO corn) and products made with simple whole corn meal are fine.
Note that the foods discussed in the video are only examples, and many other popular foods have been similarly affected—so it’s good to read labels, be aware of how a food is made, and choose whole foods as much as possible.April 24, 2016 at 12:42 pm #35215
railtona58MemberI’ve been with the Trim down club for over a year now and when I first started I was getting some wonderful results in my weight lose, over 20lb so far.
It’s a bit stagnant at the moment due to my health issues….I’m Vitamin D deficient and have low blood pressure, which is causing dizziness and poor concentration.
Its very difficult to exercise at the moment so I was wondering if anyone has advice about keeping weight off whilst ill?.April 24, 2016 at 3:23 pm #35220
michellehauserMemberJust wondering if Light Rye bread is ok?

mario.v.sMemberhello,
what means “100% whole wheat DURUM SEMOLINA” ? On the package I also read : “a delicious whole wheat pasta made with all the goodness of the whole grain ; a natural source of fibre and full of flavour”
Is this to be considered as a 100% whole grain product ? I’m confused, please explain.
Thx & regards.April 25, 2016 at 12:58 pm #35246
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Michelle. As long as it’s 100% whole grain, rye is excellent!
