MemberHi everyone, I’m a newbie. I have thyroid (hypo) and just had a child 18 months ago and still can not get the weight to come off. I’m a mother of 6 children total. I breastfeed with all of them and never had trouble losing the wieght even with my tyroid problem until my last baby. I weigh 170lbs witch is 50lbs over my average hight. I just can’t get rid of the fat. Hope this program works!

This site rocks, I love reading the newbies comments, they help inspire me to stay on target and in control of my eating habits. I’m 6l yrs. old and had 3 strokes in 2012. I’m aiming for 0 strokes in 2013, but I really need to lose weight! I’m glad I joined the trimdown club 🙂

MemberREPLY to 2013
Hi I just joined two days ago and was super keen to get up and going. I have found similar problems trying to find the 100% whole wheat items and lots of other items are unfamiliar. Live in Australia. I thought it would be good to be able to contact the consultants but now see they cost per minute.January 10, 2013 at 8:12 pm #5626Doryssb
MemberGood Day to all,
For those of you in the UK that are having a hard time finding things I noticed as I was looking through some of the threads that the last one on the first page is titled Food in the UK 🙂 Ossie from the club sent a response that looks to be very informative. Good luck to you all and welcome! I’m only 4 days in and weighed this morning and am 4.5 pounds down…YAY
Be encouraged

Hello Emart81, what an achievement 6 children, hope the program helps you shift the pounds, I only have one child and a thryoid problem but haven’t shifted the weight after 3 years so fingers crossed this program gets it moving. WOW WELL DONE MISFIT2013…fantastic news that you lost 10lbs. Dawnrosie, have you tried the bakers yet? you never know you might just set a new trend over there. Mary Ellen what a amazing couragous lady, hope you have fun getting to know this site, I had a problem trying to load a photo ( I clicked on my name up at the login bar which took me into my account details. I then click again on the photo. On the next page I tried a few times to download a photo directly but it didn’t work for me, so I clicked on the Gravatar link, then joined there to download a picture. hope this helps and what chair excercise have you planned for tomorrow so we can all nag you to get them done 😉 I’m still smiling at my 1 1\2 kilo lose over the last couple of days….keep up the great work everyone and thanks to everyone for all the helpful information and links on this topic, very much appreciated

MemberIt is so nice to wake up, sit with my coffee and breakfast and catch up with all you “cruisers”…I am really encouraged by the losses, and feeling the thrill in so many because of the changes that are being made.Good to hear things are going well for you Jackiee. Annaleeramos, that is wonderful news about your walker, and painkillers, and going for a ride…good on you girl.Camplaffalot (Mary Ellen, I can only imagine why you have that name…haha…mine used to be Havachat) I hope all goes well for you after what you have been through…hopefully we can all encourage one another! Welcome to all the newbies…don’t worry about being confused, we all were a bit! How amazing that you two Dawns have a similar name!!! Well, I haven’t lost any today again….I think it is because I am eating much of what I normally eat…so it must come down to the excercise for me! I will begin that walk at 7am on Monday.Yuck!!! But with my camera I am sure it will be a lot of fun!!! I joined the Digital Photography School last night, hoping to learn more about technique so me and my camera can become better friends! Well, have a busy day, so must leave the ship for a bit, and drop in later.Sail on everyone, enjoy the day and I will catch up with you all later…Bev.

MemberHello DawnHeffley,
Believe it or not, through the visitor season, I bake bread six days a week so am very used to the passtime. However, it appears that SWG flour is not available in Scotland.
Result; I have stopped eating bread.
At this time of the year my wife and I are on ‘holiday’. We will go back to work in March.January 10, 2013 at 10:35 pm #5641jackiee
MemberThanks Bev…have a great day. I hope you have great fun on your photography class and I’m so pleased your being so positive. Your a great inspiration, hope your Monday morning walk turns out to be less daunting as you think. I walk with a friend and she always has her camera too, it’s great having a chat while we walk, it passes the time so quickly

Memberphotography literally changed my life! I used to be so scared to go places on my own. I started a garden design course at a local college and had to use a camera again after the death of my son. I wouldn’t take any pics cos he wouldn’t have been in them. The garden design course was me really pushing myself to do something, so i mastered that now its nothing for me to go into London all by myself be it behind a camera lol

MemberI’m deeply moved by your post Danwrosie, you are very brave and I’m relieved photography has given you a little outlet to help cope with the tragic loss of your son. How’s your up and coming move going or have you moved already. I just sold my flat in scotland last month, after living in Italy now for 6 years thought it was about time although I did hope the stress of the sale would help shed a few pounds…. but it had the opposite affect as I comfort ate my way though it! glad it sold though as those extra pounds I put on gave me the mootivation to start the diet.
