Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Nicolaharold. The system perceives an error in that number. 600 cm is about 20 feet, or 6 meters. Could you confirm the number?

Finnie2000MemberHi, what can I substitute for melon and peach on this diet?
ThanksJanuary 9, 2017 at 3:46 pm #37362
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Finnie. Any other non-starchy fruit that suits you is fine – berries, plums, figs, kiwifruit, etc.

RobinMunizMemberI have a question. I love this way of eating and as i am new I am having a great deal of trouble getting my snacks in. Are there any kind of smoothies I can make for my snacks. I think if I can drink at least the morning one I will do better at this. I don’t have any issues with ALL of the food I can eat. I just don’t get many breaks at work to stop and eat my snacks. Any ideas????

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Robin. I’m glad to read that things are going well for you here. You absolutely can have smoothies instead. Please do take advantage of our recipes here – they can be substituted for any snack.

mirandafountainMemberI am trying to find the original list of vegetables! Where do I go to find the ones that are free?
January 10, 2017 at 10:23 pm #37383
mirandafountainMemberOops! Found them! I’ve just made home made Minestrone. With leeks, onions, cabbage, tomatoes, celery carrots, garbanzo beans, 1/2 Cup mini Pasta shells & 2+ Litres of home made chicken broth, all fat removed. Should I use this as a meal?
January 10, 2017 at 11:04 pm #37384
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Miranda. What is the amount of garbanzo beans? If it’s about 3/4 cup, then that’s a great meal.
January 12, 2017 at 12:51 am #37396
mirandafountainMemberIt’s a can of Garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained. The total soup is enough for 8-10 servings.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Miranda. Thanks for that information. For a serving to count as a meal, it would need to contain about 3/4 cup garbanzo beans, 1/2 cup of pasta, and 1 cup of vegetables.

qakristenMemberCan I rearrange the items in the daily menu? For example, can I move a couple of items from Snack 1 to Lunch, and Snack 2 to Dinner?
January 12, 2017 at 1:31 am #37399
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, qakristen. Sure – just take care not to load up most at night when you’re least active, and try to keep your intake consistent at similar times each day.

b_derosMemberWhat is a Fast Food Vegetable Salad listed in the menu planner?
January 12, 2017 at 11:30 am #37403
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, b_deros. It is the vegetable-only side salad that you can order at fast food restaurants. For example, http://i.snack-girl.com/m/i/mcdsidesaladphoto.jpg.

mirandafountainMemberToday’s breakfast says Low-fat yoghurt 1-2%. I can’t find yoghurt on the food lists (sorry!). Does this have to be sugar free and can it be fruit? In the past I’ve eaten No-fat plain yoghurt and add a little vanilla essence and a packet of sweetener. I’d love to have a fruit one!! 🙂
